Wilsonville's Business Environment: Myth, Reality...or a Little of Both?

Is Wilsonville a great place to do business, or is it more challenging than people think?

If you've attended a City Council meeting, followed social media discussions, or heard someone say, "Well, I've heard from a few people..." you've probably encountered opinions from both sides.

And, I have my own assumptions as a business owner myself.

One saying that has always stuck with me is, "Trust, but verify."

So, rather than relying on secondhand stories or assumptions, I decided to find out for myself.

Over the coming months, I'll be visiting and interviewing as many of Wilsonville's newer businesses as I can. My goal isn't to prove anyone right or wrong. It's to listen, learn, and better understand what we're doing well, where we can improve, and what it really takes to open and grow a business in our city.

Today's first stop: Zenner's Sausage Company headquartered here in Wilsonville! I'm looking forward to hearing their story and sharing what I learn along the way.
