Why I Serve
βI care deeply about Wilsonvilleβs future and the people who live and work here. I believe local government works best when leaders bring practical experience, listen carefully, and remain focused on the long-term health of the community. My goal is to help guide Wilsonville through growth and change while preserving what makes it a great place to liveβstrong neighborhoods, responsible governance, and a shared sense of community. I welcome engagement from residents and business owners and encourage everyone to stay involved, ask questions, and participate in shaping Wilsonvilleβs future together.β

Community First
Wilsonville is more than a cityβit is a collection of neighborhoods, families, businesses, and community organizations that together define its character and culture.
Sam knows that strong communities are built when residents feel heard, informed, and respected. Sam places a high value on listening to diverse perspectives, encouraging engagement, and ensuring that City processes are accessible and understandable.
As a homeowner, small business owner, and active community member, Sam knows the real impacts that City decisions have on household budgets, neighborhood livability, and local businesses.
Rising costs, including household essentials, taxes, and utilities, affect residents in very real ways. Sam advocates for thoughtful planning and decisions that balance investments with affordability and accountability.
Sam also brings firsthand experience serving on his Villebois HOA, where he works with neighbors to address shared challenges, manage limited resources, and make decisions that reflect the collective neighborhood good. That experience reinforces his belief that local governance works best when it is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in good data.
